Windrush and Wardens Way Circular – Walk 4 – Tuesday 5th June - Moderate

A series of circular walks encompassing the Windrush and Wardens Ways. This walk takes in four Cotswold villages and provides great views from the Wardens Way. The return via the Windrush Way includes sheltered valleys, pleasant woodland and views of the River Windrush. Bring a packed lunch. 5 hours: 10 miles.

Start:  10:00 am War Memorial on village green, Bourton-on-the-Water. OS Map ref SP 167 206.

A Remote and Beautiful Valley – Tuesday 19th June - Moderate

A circular walk passing through some of the north Cotswolds' most remote and beautiful countryside. The walk runs first through woods above the Hinchwick Valley, descends briefly into an adjoining valley and then returns along the bottom of the dry Hinchwick Valley itself. 2.5 hours: 5 miles.

Start:  10:00 am Hinchwick Hamlet. Park tidily on grass verge. Hinchwick is about 4 miles west of Moreton-in-Marsh, 4 miles south of Broadway. OS Map ref SP 145 301.

Flower Foray on and around Cleeve Common – Friday 29th June - Moderate

A Fabulous Flower Foray! With Conservation Officer Ellie Phillips, we hope to showcase the wonderful range of wildflowers that grow on both the Common and nearby butterfly reserves. Bring packed lunch and wear sturdy footwear for scrambling over rougher areas. 5 hours: 5 miles.Start:  10:00am Cleeve Hill Quarry car park. Turn off B4632 at the summit, signposted to the Golf Club, up narrow track over cattle grid, left and then right into car park. OS Map ref SO 989 272.

PLEASE use appropriate footwear as some walks may be steep and muddy in places. MODERATE - includes some hills and rough ground. STRENUOUS – may be rough underfoot and ascents and descents may be steep. We welcome guide and hearing dogs - sorry, others not allowed.

Walks are free although we do invite donations to help fund our conservation and improvement work.
